Exhibits: Stills from Season 3 of "My Brilliant Friend"

At the beginning of the year, the broadcast of the third season of "My Brilliant Friend" sparked heated discussions. Many friends participated online in the live dialogue between Curator Chen Danqing and Director Costanzo and other guests about the TV series. We extended the exhibition period of the photography exhibition of stills from the first and second seasons. However, due to the sudden outbreak of the pandemic and the temporary closure of the museum, many people unfortunately failed to visit the exhibition in person. Fortunately, we obtained the authorization from the Italian side. Starting from July 9, the story of the third season of "My Brilliant Friend" continued to be presented at Mu Xin Art Museum in Wuzhen.

The friendship between Lila and Elena, which had spanned fifty years, entered a more brutal and realistic stage: marriage, children, betrayal, survival, social struggles... Although they had their own lives, they were still closely connected and could not be ignored by each other. The whole society seemed to be changing, making everyone's life full of uncertainties.

The topic of women became the focus of attention all over the world. The characters created by Italian writer Elena Ferrante had crossed the times and came before us, making us unable to ignore their existence or the voices within our hearts. We came together to watch and to chat about those "brilliant friends" in literature and life.
