Hiroshi Okamoto and Bing Lin from OLI Architecture PLLC designed a stepped library that connects the first and second floors at the northernmost end of the Mu Xin Art Museum. Visitors can take a rest, sit for a long time on the wooden steps, and overlook the backyard of the art museum. The entire east wall of the library is lined with over a hundred bookshelves, decorated with 62 portraits of world-famous literary celebrities, and displays rare literary works at home and abroad in history, as mentioned in Mu Xin's Literary Memoirs.
